MSD 7AL-2 Plus has all the features of the base 7AL-2 with the addition of a two-step rev control and diagnostic LED. This ignition delivers full power at any RPM. Multiple-spark discharge circuitry improves throttle response, off-corner performance, idle, and launch consistency. Built-in, soft touch rev control protects the engine from over-rev damage. The 7AL-2 Plus' accurate rev-limiting action is smooth without backfires. Adjustments are easily made with plug-in modules, and the ignition can be triggered from points, magnetic pickups, crank triggers, and electronic amplifiers.
