Revolutionary Cooling for your TransmissionOur next step in product development has been to address the problem of excessive transmission heat. By applying what we have learned by our extensive knowledge of cooling systems, we have created a new method of cooling transmission fluid as well as preheating it to a suitable level before each run. This new deep transmission pan for powerglide transmissions acts as a fluid temperature stabilizer and offers more consistent temperature for more consistent runs. Our testing data shows that the warm-up cycle of the engine with an engine temperature of 165°F, the observed transmission temperature was 150°F. Likewise, on the cool down cycle our data showed that the transmission fluid would drop temperature within 10° of the engine. That is, the observed engine temperature at the end of the run was 205°F and the transmission was 215°F. The transmission quickly dropped within 5° of the engine temperature and followed the coolant temperature all the way to 150°F.
