Socket-style sway bar links are greasable parts made with durable powdered-metal bearings that can withstand much greater loads without deforming like plastic bearings do. Moog powdered-metal ''gusher'' bearings keep lubrication at the bearing surfaces, enhancing durability and service life. Wrench flats at the base of the stud allow for the use of sockets for easy installation.
Heavy-duty designs are available for most conventional ''pin and bushing'' applications. Most heavy-duty kit applications use larger bolt diameters, thermoplastic bushings and plated hardware components for extended service life.
