11 Second ET's At 120MPH+ With Stock Bottom End!!!
With almost a year in development this 2nd generation turbo kit for the Mustang 4v Cobra with forward facing headers will out perform the 1st generation kit at the same boost level by picking up almost 30rwhp/50ft. lbs. mid-range. Most of this is due to the improved front mount design and being able to spool the turbo quicker by eliminate about 4'+ of tubing pre-turbo. This also allowed us to route the intercooler and downpipe tubing for additional ground clearance.
Aluminum intercooler tubing was used to save over 15lbs from the 1st gen kit, allow for slightly cooler IAT's as well as a shorter, more direct path which also has shown us the benefits. Additionally a few other features were added to make the installation easier and prevent issues down the road including a newly designed and laser cut intercooler bracket kit, as well as a turbo support bracket that allows the weight of the turbo system to be tied back to the engine. This way the weight of the pre-turbo tubing and turbo is supported by the bracket instead of the actual tubing.
Each turbo system comes with the On3 70mm turbocharger which is rated up to 700hp. Currently our 2v shop car has around 20,000 miles and 3 years of daily driving year-round. We have proven the turbos durability over time and if maintained and installed correctly, its unbeatable for the money.
On 5psi, you will have full boost in the upper 2000RPM range, that's around 700-800RPM quicker than the 1st gen kit. There is nothing like turbocharged power on your modular 4.6 Mustang, bolt on and double the factory horsepower. This kit has been proven to put you deep into the 11's on a stock bottom end 4v car. You will have no problem trapping 120+ mph, we are trapping almost 121mph with our shop test car; a 2002 2v GT.

This kit will require the installation of a tubular k-member. It was designed to be used with either the Granatelli or QA1 k-member
The Cobra's also have a oil cooler built into the factory oil filter assembly at the block, the smaller 2V version will be needed.
