Compared to conventional batteries, RedTops deliver a higher level of power to the starter in the critical first 10 seconds of a vehicle's starting cycle. The Spiralcell design allows for the lowest internal resistance of any battery on the market: .0030 ohms for 12V and .0019 ohms for 6V. Combined with a 100% sealed case (out-gassed chemicals are reabsorbed), low internal resistance is key to Optima's high-power delivery, increased cycle life, and fast rechargeability.
