How To Install V8 into S10/Blazer Engine Swap-in-a-Box Kits

The installation of an S10 350 swap kit begins with bolting the oil pan to the engine while out of the vehicle. Next, install the motor mounts on the engine and the frame mounts in the chassis, making installation easier. Depending on the kit, the headers may be able to be installed on the engine before installation or be required to assemble afterwards due to space limitations. The engine can then be lowered into the engine bay and the frame mounts can be bolted to the engine mounts to secure it to the chassis. Once the engine is secured, the transmission can be bolted to it. The rest of the engine can be assembled as well as the installation of an S-10 radiator designed for a V-8 conversion.
