VHT EPOXY PAINT is an exclusive air dry one-step epoxy ester resin system which effectively Stops Rust from forming on all types of metal. It provides excellent adhesion to protect against harsh environments and to maximize corrosion protection. VHT EPOXY PAINT is an All Weather coating that dries to an exceptionally hard finish and is ideal for use on metal, wood, masonry and most fiberglass surfaces. VHT EPOXY PAINT is formulated for interior or exterior use and is self-priming on non-oxidizing substrates. Application: Sand or wire brush rusted areas making sure the surface is clean and free of grease, dirt rust and loose paint. Lightly sand previously painted surfaces to dull the gloss or use a deglosser for maximum adhesion. Hold the can 12 to 14 inches away from the surface and spray in one direction using long even strokes. Repeat this procedure in the opposite direction. On vertical surfaces point the top of the can slightly downward working the wet areas of the spray as you progress down the area to be painted. Continue to apply even coats until a smooth even coat is achieved. On the final coat, move the can closer to the surface approximately 6 to 10 inches for maximum gloss.
Note: After you have achieved a true color, you may find some areas are glossier than others. This is normal and is only overspray. Allow to cure 30 days and lightly buff with a high quality rubbing compound or glass wax to even out the gloss.
