The Z9-APX (Apex) helmet is designed with 3 strategic objectives in mind: (1) Exceed Snell SA/K2010 Ratings (2) Incorporate HANS Device anchor compatibility into the shell design and (3) utilize the benefits of Tri-Weave® to achieve an optimum balance between weight, impact resistance and shear strength. The Z9-APX delivers on those 3 objectives and more:

  • Exceeds SNELL SA/K2010 and U.S. DOT ratings: exceeds standards for competitive Auto & Kart Racing
  • HANS Device compatible; integrated into shell structure
  • Fire retardant Nomex® provides the best in fire protective lining.
  • Kevlar Neck Strap
  • Removable, padded, washable liner to provide the best sweat-wicking capabilities
  • Optically Correct Clear Polycarbonate Lexan visor
  • Includes 3 installed Tear-Offs
  • Fresh air vents for ventilation & cooling
  • Anodized Aluminum hardware
  • Shell made from Fiberglass with Tri-Weave® reinforcement in critical regions
