Zoom Variable Torque
The latest break through in clutches is Zoom's ZVT clutch technology! The ZVT clutch set starts with one of Zoom's performance clutch covers. Every cartridge has been ''pre-tuned'' for each specific application to insure proper fitment and optimal performance.
The ZVT system works by using centrifugal force to pull on the ZVT levers causing a ''pivoting'' action to occur. The outward ''pulling'' force is transferred to ''downward'' force which is applied to the outer point of the clutch diaphragm spring.
This translates to an increase in clamp load applied from the friction ring against the clutch disc. Increase torque capacity is achieved with out an uncomfortable increase in pedal pressure. As you increase your vehicle's RPM, the ZVT system increases your vehicle's torque capacity. ZVT provides holding power only when you need it, not when you don't. Kits include T.O. bearing, Alignment tool, and Pilot bearings.
The ZVT kits are offered in four configurations. Ranging from ''Factor-1 rated up to 450 ft. lbs. of torque to the ''Factor-4'' which is rated up to 706 ft. lbs. of torque.
