B&M

In the very early 1950's it was B&M who came up with the idea of using a performance reinforced Hydramatic transmission for racing. In the 60's it was B&M who developed shifters to go along with it, and later in the decade came B&M race converters.

In the 70's B&M shift and transmission improving kits, and still to this day B&M makes the constant improvement as newer materials and technologies come along. JEGS has been proud to carry B&M products for years and keeps a long list of B&M products, including trans-coolers, on the shelf ready at the guaranteed lowest price.

B & M Trans Coolers

BM Transmission CoolersYour transmission benefits when you keep the fluid cool. Under harsh conditions, transmission fluid heats up and is not as effective at lubricating your transmission. B&M Trans Coolers are the perfect way to keep your fluid working to its peak potential and add minimal weight to your vehicle. Trans Coolers are added protection for a rather expensive piece of your drivetrain. B&M Trans Coolers are light - all aluminum, with a stacked and Fin & Plate design. They are pressure tested with mounting brackets integrated into the design of the cooler.

Choose from a complete line of Trans Coolers:
Polished Transmission Coolers give you all the cooling protection you need with a great polished aluminum look to keep your ride looking great. Sometimes you can't totally hide a trans cooler. This product works well for coolers that will be seen.

Automatic Transmission SuperCoolers come in various sizes to match the performance level you require. They also have a unique feature called Low Pressure Drop. When your transmission fluid is cold, this trans cooler will allow some fluid to bypass the cooler until it warms to operating temperature. This is a great feature in colder climates where cold ATF is not preferable.

B&M offers the Hi-Tek Automatic Transmission Cooling System for high performance needs. This trans cooler comes in a few sizes with a built in 12 volt fan that adds additional cooling capacity over a traditional transmission cooler. A built-in thermal switch turns the fan on at 175 degrees.
