Spek Tachometers are all electric and microprocessor controlled. The Tachometer is available in 2-1/16'' and 5'' dial sizes. Five inch tachometers have a built-in Heads-up-Red-Line shift lights that shift from Heads-Up-Yellow to Red-Line-Red at the shift point. The 2-1/16'' gauge utilizes a Wide-Angle Dial design that creates a 15% larger viewing area on a 2-1/16'' gauge (patented). The 5'' gauge can mount in a 2-1/16'' pod so there is no need to cut a hole in your dash. High intensity LED technology and patented light distribution is designed for day or night driving. Gauges feature programmable faceplate illumination of red, blue, green, orange, yellow, purple, or white. The dial, pointer and shift light illumination are individually adjustable. A stepper motor is supplied for the accurate pointer reading of a 280 degree sweep for the 2-1/16'' dial while the 5'' has a 310 degree sweep. Both will return the pointer to ''0'' when power is removed. Gauges are programmed through patented water resistant stainless steel sealed command keys located on the faceplate. No control boxes or hand-held remote control needed. Peak playback value can be retrieved, high and low alert levels set, and programmable output signal activated. Spek gauges come with a plug receptacle for connecting the wiring harnesses. This plug and play technology significantly decreases installation time.
