Installing seats requires some careful planning and installation. The first step is measuring the amount of space you have from the floor to the ceiling. You also need to measure side-to-side room. Finally, the height of where you sit needs to be measured so that you don't sit too high and hit your head or helmet on the vehicle's roof. The height of the seat brackets will need to be taken into account with the selection of the seat. Next, select a seat that you like and check the measurements that are advertised with it. Once a correct size racing seat is selected that will fit both you and your vehicle, choose the bracket to attach it to the floor. Next, you will mock both the bracket and seat into place in the vehicle and check for seating room, adjusting the brackets and seat where they need to be. Finally you will drill holes to bolt the bracket to the floor and the bracket to the race seat and tighten everything together with hardware.

If you have bucket seats that aren't comfortable, you may try to add some padding to the seat or back. However, there aren't many options beyond that to make the seat more comfortable. Purchasing a different seat may be the final solution.
