903-007RS - ACDelco ReadyStrut Complete Strut Assemblies is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good fit, remarkable ride imrovement. Bought these complete assemblies for the rear of my 1999 Buick Century, 108K miles, originals were getting noisy and bouncy. Perfect fit in the mounts with one little hitch. There is a bracket that attaches to the side of the lower strut mount that supports the brake line. The brake line transitions from rubber to steel at the bracket. On the original strut there was a small threaded hole that a bolt through bracket secures the brake lines. The new struts have a hole in that spot, but its much larger and not threaded. I considered threading the hole with a tap and enlarging the hole in bracket, but drilling the bracket hole would have been awkward in that position and might undermine the integrity of bracket or worse, if the bit caught it might have jerked the brake line connection. I went to Home Depot and got a stainless grade 8.8 bolt, M8 x 1.25, 60mm long. Put a stainless flat washer under the under the head, another under the locknut, good to go. The bolt passes all the way through the lower mount without interference. Riding amazingly better.
