The Super Box 2 Steering Gear Boxes are nearly identical to the original Super Box 1 in terms of design and performance. However, AGR has re-engineered them with firmer valving and appropriate ratio gearing for better handling at highway speeds and to be better suited for casual daily driving.
Super Box 2 Gear Boxes have a 16/13:1 ratio, four finger feel and about 3.3 rotations from lock-to-lock. They come finished in a natural casting case with billet accents It's also suited for crossover conversions on 4x4 steering. Using crossover steering on 4 wheel drive vehicles corrects the steering linkage geometry and keeps it from binding in off-road situations.
