This short block is designed to be a strong foundation for high horsepower street/strip engine builds.
Block Information:
- 1993-2001 Seasoned OE Magnum Block
- Bore/Stroke: 4.040" x 4.000"
- Displacement: 408ci
- Camshaft Bearings: Dura-Bond, installed and clocked to OEM position
- Freeze Plugs: Brass, installed and sealed
- Oil Galley Plugs: Installed and sealed
Rotating Assembly:
- Crankshaft: Scat 4340 forged
- Balance: Internally
- Rods: Scat 4340 forged I beam with ARP 8740 bolts
- Compression Ratio: 62cc= 9.9:1 / 68cc= 9.5:1 / 72cc= 9.1:1
- Pistons: Forged dished -20.5cc
- Rings: Plasmamoly
Recommended Components:
- Balancer: Internal balance
- Flexplate/Flywheel: Internal balance
- Head Gasket: .048" thickness or per application
- Oil: 10W30 Non syntheitc for first 3000 miles
- Oil Filter: Wix or K&N per application
Specifications:
Just with factory heads which i prob wouldnt use im curious what torque numbers are expected. And if aftermarkets were used whats estimated.
