Rated 5 out of 5 by from No problems 2 years 3 months Had 0 I mean 0 issues with this engine got it August 18 2018 so I got until August until warranty up but never had ticking nothing but of course rear main seal went out but that's Normal if you know LS. But far as everything else I love it . You got hit gas at light sometimes because it's so quite you don't even hear it running!!!! They did excellent job. I had wait until couple years for review and I'm happy and it's about 75k miles on it yes I did a lot of driving , at one time was my daily for 4 months driving almost 100 miles a day. But still no ticking nothing. I know I can get about 5 to 6 years out of it maybe more because I got other cars but if you ask me I will buy again . Shipping was fast and refund for core was quick and they pick it up . After my 3 year warranty up in August I will cam it out lol but maybe keep it stock already have enough hp in yard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good Delivered absurdly fast and went right in with no surprises. Any differences vs. my original '03 engine were noted in the documentation as revisions per GM and were easy to account for (e.g. the integrated PCV). One not-so-obvious thing you'll need a new harmonic balancer bolt bolt as they are torque to yield. Don't throw away the old one as you'll use it during the re-install process (google it). I used Autozone loan-a-tool 27139 for removal with a socket between the crank and bolt (The bolt isn't long enough) and 27306 for install. Both worked well. Take pictures of where all your ground wires connect (There were 4-5) and make sure you reconnect them before putting the alternator/PS bracket and intake manifold back on as it's much harder if you attempt to attach them after. I forgot one and got some strange electrical behavior. Had to remove the intake manifold again to get back to the attachment point on the rear of the block. Runs smooth... like new. Hopefully it lasts at least as long as the original.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy Came with full set of Mahle gaskets; everything needed to install the motor that wasn't already bolted on (intake, exhaust, water pump, fuel injector o-rings, etc.). Motor was clean and the bolts were all torqued to spec when I checked them. Engine runs flawlessly, very smooth. No abnormal noises or vibrations. I was almost sad to cover it up with the plastics in the engine compartment.
