These steel bird cages from Allstar Performance are compatible with many varieties of racing vehicles using a four link rear suspension setup. The steel birds cages double shear radius rod mounting brackets for increased strength and reduced flexing. They also include maintenance free, sealed roller bearings. These sealed roller bearings provide smooth action throughout the entire suspension range. There are also multiple shock mounting locations, with swivel and solid mounts, to allow for complete customization of shock height and suspension performance. All steel bird cage kits also include high misalignment bushings. These allow additional radius rod travel, which helps to prevent binding under severe angles. These units should be used with machined axle tubes. The bird cages are offered with two different sized roller bearings. The bird cages with the 3.004" roller bearing provide a more precise fit, but additional machining to the axle tube may be required. The bird cages with the 3.008" roller bearing are the more popular and require less work for installation. Features
