    No, this will take a new torque converter and some other modifications to swap the 4L80E transmission.

    I am building a 383 stroker for my 95 sierra I know that it says for 97 and new and its probably because it has a different ecu but I'm going to a tpi system with an accel self learning ecu will this transmission work with this setup?

    You could install this in a 95, however to do this you must have a transmission control unit such as TCI 890-302820.
