    Direct Replacement, All Aluminum Radiators

O.E.M. radiators are just that, Original Equipment. They are designed to cool stock applications and overheating can take the fun out of cruising your hot rod. Be Cool designs their radiators in the same ''Crossflow'' / ''Downflow'' configuration as the original radiator to avoid any installation issues but that is where the similarities stop! Crossflow radiators are constructed with their tanks on the sides, while a Downflow radiator has its tanks on the top and bottom of the core. A commonly asked question is: Which is better, a Crossflow or Downflow radiator? The answer: Both will cool the same as long as the core surface of the radiator is the same in square inches.
Cooling monster motors, especially when faced with common problems like tight spaces and small grille openings can be a challenge. Be Cool's cooling technology produces radiators that are 40% lighter than conventional O.E.M. units, yet have greater cooling power. These aluminum radiators feature a dual 1'' tube core, .080'' thick aluminum tanks. They are manufactured with OEM-sized inlets and outlets in the correct OEM locations. Additionally, they come with a billet filler neck and a brass petcock. Each radiator is 100% pressure tested before being shipped in expanding foam packaging. Their epoxy-free construction provides better heat dissipation, too, while allowing complete repairability. They are available in a natural aluminum or a mirror-polished finish that is real show stopper!
All Be Cool radiators are compatible with all coolants and 100% Made In The USA! They are Guaranteed to lower your coolant temperature a minimum of 20-degrees, or your money back! In fact most customers report even greater coolant temperature drops. If you have a stock vehicle think O.E.M., but if you have a performance vehicle you should consider Be Cool! Made In The USA.

    62082 is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 failures I bought this radiator in July 2016 as a preventative replacement for my original, brass and copper radiator that was beginning to show softness in the tubes. At the time, no OEM replacements were available and be cool was one of the only options on the market. The radiator was professionally installed and worked great, at first. But, the be cool radiator began leaking 8 months later in April 2017. The leak was between tubes at a joint and not from an impact or improper install. Jegs replaced it without issue and I again had the new replacement professionally installed; but exactly 12 months later (April 2018) the replacement radiator also began leaking between the tubes in nearly the same location as the first be cool radiator! To be clear, the issue is not due to an impact or improper install. It also is not due to any issues with the car, such as an over pressurized cooling system. These failures appear to be straight up defects in the joint between the tubes and the side tank. In addition, this radiator is not even close to a direct fit for Jaguars. The upper radiator hose fitting is too large and the mechanic had to stretch a new hose to fit. Also, the electric fan switch is relocated on the becool radiator to the lower radiator hose inlet instead of on the side tank as with the OEM. However, you need a special adapter to make the original switch work as becool has it threaded NPT and the jaguar switch is metric. Similarly, the automatic transmission cooler hook up is completely wrong. The XJS uses a metric, o-ring fitting -- the be cool comes with npt fittings. The mechanic had to order another set of adapters to make the fittings work -- causing more down time and additional expense. Similarly, the air bleed system is different from stock Jaguar and requires yet another set of adapter fittings! It's disappointing that an expensive, made in the USA radiator failed once -- but twice in such a short time period is unacceptable.
