Are the indentify numbers or JEGS part number on the block and where

    Asked by: Glennhope1
This is the Blueprint part number and they would normally be on a tag on the engine.

Would this engine work in a 1997 k1500. If so what all would I need? Is my transmission (4l60e) going to be an issue? My engine is TBi , would this affect my computer?                                     Thanks in advance.

    Asked by: John6891
This will bolt in and work with your transmission. You will have to remove any of the TBI wiring as this uses a carburetor.

Are the engine already broken in? And is timing set, for best performance? What’s the warrant on the engine?

    Asked by: Red83
These engine are dyno tested and will come with the dyno sheet. You will need to check the timing, and they have a 30 month/50,000 mile warranty.

I live in an emissions state. And have a 97 k1500 z71. Will this set a mil lamp because of carb vs furl injected? If so will O.E. manifold n injection work? Or will I need to get holly n or Fi tech to fit provided intake?

    Asked by: Hog n tx
Unfortunately we do not perform any emissions tests on any of our engines here for state inspections. If you are going to switch from this setup we would recommend the aftermarket throttle body systems, a factory fuel injection system will not work on this engine.
