If I were to put this into a 91 k1500 4x4 what transmission and converter would you recommend

    Asked by: Origindot
For this particular engine we would like to see at least a 2000-2400 RPM stall converter be used.

Will my headers off of a standard stock 350 fit this 383 engine

    Asked by: Jerry Lee
Yes, the exhaust flange that we use on this engine is a standard small block 350 bolt pattern.

    Asked by: Hog n tx
Yes the front accessories off of your pickup would work on this carbureted engine.

    Asked by: Matt7385
That stall converter would work great with our engine!

I apologize for the question above! The answer is listed with cam. What I meant to ask, what brand distributor? I'm trying to determine vacuum advance settings.

    Asked by: menotseeyou
The distributor that we currently use in this engine is an HEI style distributor that we have made specifically for us. When we run this engine on the dyno here we actually leave the vacuum advance plugged and run the engine off of the mechanical advance inside of the distributor.

What brand cam is in it and what is the lobe separation?

    Asked by: Ghudyma
The cam that we use in this engine is custom ground here in house, and it will have a 110* lobe separation angle.

Can I get a Polish Chrome intake manifold on this engine How much extra would that cost

    Asked by: Bruce 57
Unfortunately at this point in time we only offer this engine with a satin intake, I would not be able to change it out for a chrome intake. We do have our part number BP3834CT1 available with no intake carburetor or distributor and then you can dress it out how you see fit.
