    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Borgonson gearbox/71"LS5 Corvette with power steer I am at the end of a 3 year restoration of A Proud 71LS5 454ci Corvette I kept hearing about this Borgonson sterring gearbox kit so we put a order in for the ultimate Gearbox the Representative at JEGS Saved The Day when I got the call from Extreme Street performance that the gearbox had defect I called Adam @JEGS And Adams Great Service Team went to work and the JEGS Team saved the day Corvette apart on the Rack JEGS Called Borgeson and Borgonson Fantastic Team Jumped into Action and sent a New Gearbox kit to Chad Owner and Operator of Extreme Street performance Ill give 5 Stars for a Great amount of caring for the Custumer and how Fast they took they recovered . I'll keep you updated on the Arrival and return of parts at the finish line. So far Great Teamwork Take Care Vegas Strong

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Borgeson upgrade kit for C3 corvette This is a great upgrade for the C3 corvette, and about half the price of doing a rack and pinion swap. Plan on 8 to 10 hours to do the install, the end result is well worth the time.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Few Issues, Otherwise Good Product Power steering return hose needs to be longer. Insert flare to O-ring did not work. I ordered Classic Performance 605SOL adaptors. You should use the old carriage bolts. Hex heads supplied may cut the tire. Rag Joint for steering wheel to much trouble to make fit. Borgeson needs to correct these issues. Other than the hose, the other issues are mention on YouTube. Be sure to check the center position on the pitman arm shaft. I would also recommend the Ridetech brace. I think it was fairly easy to install. Overall I think it is very well worth the up date.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Check your fittings! FIRST item to check is the hose connections to the steering box. They supply you with brass fittings to go into the female outlet of of the box. My return line needed a longer brass fitting to make a secure connection. this halted the install by 3 days! Borgeson knew this was needed as soon as I called. WHY didn't they include it in the kit?? Only reason for the 4 stars. Turning ratio is fantastic and my constant leak is gone! I have a 454 CI requiring the removal of the steering column to be removed to be able to collapse it. Not a lot of room to work with this engine

    Will the steering box fit with 1 7/8 header tubes
