Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not durable I purchased a 15lb Braille battery for my Subaru rally car in Aug 2015 and it sat on my shelf until late 2017 when I finished my car and installed it. It worked great until Aug 2019 and it started to lose charge when car sits for a day or I will drive & park the car for 5 minutes to go into the store and it would not start when I return unless I jump it. I then bought the 17lb on 28th Oct 2018 which also worked great until mid June 2020 and I’m running into the same issue. I have had my alternator and starter tested and they all pass so I’m not having a problem with those. I went into a shop and they tested the battery and when they do a load test it would discharge so quick that it would not start. I can drive the car 80-100 mils non stop and when I park it and try to start it will just click like it does not have enough amps/voltage. The lights never go dim during this time. If I jump start it would fire right away. This newest battery in my car did not even last 9 months. The 15lb I purchased originally lasted me longer. Is anyone else running into this durability issues or I’m I just unlucky in buying lemon batteries? I was also thinking maybe the store sold me the oldest batteries on the shelf to move the product.
