Big Horsepower Maker for Budget Racers!
The Brodix Small Block Chevy -18X Series Aluminum Cylinder Heads offer the best of both worlds, 18-degree horsepower without using expensive shaft rockers or offset lifters. This head offers a dramatic horsepower increase over the previous 23° cylinder head. Several advantages of the -18X are intake ports that flow over 320 cfm out-of-the-box, an intake valve size of 2.140, raised intake ports, and shallow combustion chambers. The -18X is an excellent choice for the budget-minded racer who wants to go fast. Every casting is poured from A-356 virgin aluminum and tested before Brodix utilizes their in-house processes such as finish machining and heat treating to assure that you receive the best products for your hard-earned money. The industry standard has been taken to the next level with modernized CNC porting. Other features include a thick deck surface that is compatible with nitrous, drilled and tapped holes on the ends for standard drive accessories, phosphorous bronze valve guides and interlocking valve seats installed.
