Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super quiet pump Bought the new Carter pump to replace the original. The original pump would wake the dead. The Carter was much bigger but installed in the same area and was thinking about installing a dash light to tell me it was on. Super quiet. Nice unit. The only drawback were the electrical connections. Be sure they are seated properly and use the clamp provided.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Well Made The pump is heavy-duty and very well constructed. We installed it in a Travco motor home and it works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertized I ordered this electric fuel pump to replace the original one on my Buick 455 in my 40 Buick special. It works great, was easy to mount, but is noisy at stop signs and low speed. At highway speeds it’s not noticeable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As Advertised Read the reviews previously posted, so I was expecting some issues with installation, but happily there were no issues. The instructions were a little weak on the wiring (have not used this particular plug / wire clip before), but sorted it out with no issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Carter fuel pump This has to be the best fuel pump around for the money, it is very quiet & easy to fit & looks professional, it also comes with all the fittings. The nuts that hold the pump on the bracket are a bit flimsy so be careful not to over tighten. Good job Carter

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Carter Fuel Pump P4070 I installed this pump and attached it to the trunk floor just in front of the gas tank . I would of prefered to mount it on the chassis but nova's don't have one . It would have been a little more quite , can't hear it with the engine running anyway .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bolt on and go! Had this pump on a LS carb setup, old pump that was well used finally went out. Bought this Carter pump, installed in a very short time, new fuel filter. Truck fired and and hasn't missed a beat since. Can't beat it for the price and simplicity.
