Rated 3 out of 5 by from Should State GEN VI only As stated by GM Performance Parts "Can be used in MarkIV, Gen 5 and 6 blocks... Timing cover in this kit is for use with a Gen 6 BBC Pans only! Gen 6 pan don't fit Mark IV blocks. I cut the front of a Gen 6 pan off and welded it on a Mark IV oil pan and modified two gaskets to make it work. Also, you have to drill and tap two new holes in the block pan rail. Plus cut .125 off the snout of your balancer.
