Early LS Oil Filter Adapters screw on the oil pan where the stock disposable filters usually goes. Oil Filter Adapter Ports are threaded for #10 O-Ring boss fittings. Oil Filter Adapters are engraved which Port is In and Out to help with install. Oil Filter adapters are plumbed with the Out Port of the adapter to the In Port of the remote filter. The Out Port of the remote filter goes to the In Port of the adapter. Also can work with Dry Sump setups by plugging the Outlet Port of the block adapter and just using the Inlet Port. When using See-Through Filters on LS motors use #12 O-Ring Boss to #10 AN fittings in the filter and #10 O-Ring Boss to #10 AN fittings in the adapter with #10 lines. Block adapters can fit more makes and models than listed. Check which disposable filter fits the application and compare thread and seal specs.
