    13740 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from decreases ATF temperature by 40 to 80 degrees F My Sprinter 3500 motorhome has the NAG1 722.6 transmission that I noticed, after reading in forums, that it often fails anytime after 100k miles, and sometimes before. So I concluded that these transmissions run too hot in general and I wanted a transmission cooler. That is why, in late 2017, I went to FixEuro in Dallas, TX, to install the Derale Hyper-Cool Dual Cool Remote Cooler 13740. FixEuro has two lifts so they mounted the cooler on some fabricated angle iron under the chassis behind the driver's seat and just in front of the 18 gallon propane tank. For the aux filter, I use the large Mobil1 M1-301A instead of a small filter supplied with the kit. That first dual cooler has worked great on the dusty, dirt roads that I am often on and it lasted 2 years and 9 months before stopping a few months ago. So I had a new dual fan 13740 installed last month and the shop that installed it is Sprinter Specialists in Spring, TX, just north of Houston. On the Derale gauge without the cooler turned on, my ATF temperature is normally 220 degrees F on level ground, and higher when going up hills. With the cooler turned on, the ATF temp is only 140 degrees on level ground if the outside temps are in the 60's, and 160 degrees with the outside temps in the 70's. The ATF temp is 180 degrees on level ground when outside temps are in the 80's. So it's a great dual cooler with decreases in ATF temps from 40 to 80 degrees F.
