Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! This fan by itself with no shroud cools my 400hp 454. I hate shrouds, they look so ugly, plus I have no room for one. It is a bit heavy to just zip tie to the radiator, so I cut two 1" bands for it to hang on and used long 1/4" bolts through the top support holes and bolted the other end to holes already existing on the radiator support. I then used cable ties (with an extra end) and the round discs included to hold the bottom the the radiator. The cable ties don't screw up the fins like the stupid round ties everyone supplies with their fans. Something extra I really like about the fan is the rubber "feet" that are supplied. The fan sits off of the radiator about 1/16", not enough to worry about air flow but makes me feel much better about attaching it against the radiator. No need to worry about it bending fins or wearing against the aluminum core.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet with high flow I like the two speed feature as it eliminates a resistor my original fan used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like driving with the window down I bought this fan with the hope it would keep my 66 SS 396 Chevelle cool. I had 2 10 inch fans hooked up to a 4 core aluminum radiator and the thing would just not stay below 230 cruising. I could barely feel any air being pulled through the radiator. I put this one 17 inch fan in and put it on high speed continuous and it is like driving with the windows down. There is so much air being pulled through the radiator it us unreal. Although I have not had a chance to really test it in a car cruise yet, I know with this much air, it will be just fine. The other amazing thing is this high output fan is a lot quieter than the other fans I was running. I am very happy with the purchase and the quality. I needed a thin fan to put in front of the serpentine system and this one hit the mark.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool at last! I have limited space between the engine and radiator so this fan worked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Passes a lot of air. Blows a heck of a lot of air but is a tad bit noisy. I guess most hurricanes are.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than Zirco fans. Excellent fan. Does not require reversing polarity and turning blade around to make a pusher fan which then break when removing from motor shaft.
