    14mm

E3.42 is a 14mm, 0.460” reach plug with a taper seat. It fits domestic applications in the 80’s to early 90’s. E3 automotive plugs have three legs securing the DiamondFIRE electrode to the shell. This allows for excellent heat transfer, and helps to create more turbulence in the cylinder. The patented DiamondFIRE side wire is proven to increase power, reduce fuel consumption and improve hydrocarbon emissions in long-term use. The unique ground electrode and full-size center electrode also provides optimal performance for a guaranteed five years or 100,000 miles.

Increases Engine Power Over Conventional Spark Plugs!

E3 Spark Plugs utilize the latest in E3 technology, helping engines operate more efficiently, burn fuel more completely, reduces emissions and deliver maximum horsepower during every combustion cycle. When compared to conventional spark plugs, E3 Spark Plugs offer up-to a 12% increase in engine power and performance. A patented Edge-to-Edge DiamondFire ground electrode design outperforms other plug designs by getting the combustion process started earlier in the combustion chamber. A faster, more complete burn provides an optimum spark and an increase in engine life, fuel efficiency and money savings!

DiamondFIRE Technology: E3 DiamondFIRE ground electrode technology works to create a plasma channel through which the spark current flows more easily. This helps the multiple-edge configuration to outperform all other spark plug designs available, including many premium offerings from the major manufacturers.

    Features:

    • Up-to a 12% Increase in Power over Conventional Spark Plugs
    • Faster Flame Kernel for Increased Fuel Efficiency
    • DiamondFIRE Technology
    • Open Ground Electrode Design
    • Forward Projection into Spark Zone
    • Edge-to-Edge Spark Discharge
    • Reduces Emissions

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't believe the difference these plugs make. I can feel the difference in power these plugs make over the other (Autolite) plugs. I have used E3 in the past, but the new style is much better. I am putting these in all my pickups.

What is the right plug for a 355c.i.(350 bored .040) Chevy with 11.25-1 Compression, .670 Roller Camshaft, 800 cfm Hollley Carb, Headers, open plenum manifold

    Asked by: dansodomin
This will depend on the cylinder head you are using. many aluminum heads use a gasket type flat seat spark plug, while many cast iron heads use this tapered seat style plug.
