Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great capability I’ve had this item in my 1969 f100 for years and been able to daily drive the truck for quite a while by using this product, I’d very much recommend it for anyone wanting to daily their older vehicle and being able to start it in the winter very easily.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy it The Fast XR systems were originally sold by Crane for many years. CompCam bought the rights and now sells them under the name "FAST". When Crane made them, they were reliable and worked great. I installed 6 of them in various cars over time. The FAST XR systems part's bag was missing screws and the little sleeve tool that lets you remove the system from your distributor. Those tiny screws were only available online from a specialty hardware business. The bracket that screws to the LED is poorly made and won't screw into the LED properly. The holes in the bracket didn't line up with the holes in the LED. I had to use a miniature file to remove metal from the bracket to make it fit. I then installed the system and it worked for 3 days, after which the car's engine began stumbling and backfiring. I checked the timing and it was jumping around while the engine was running. I've emailed CompCams twice but get no response. I then called them 3 times over a week and their answering system puts me on hold. I hung up after waiting 30 minutes. I removed the system and reinstalled the original points and condenser and the engine runs fine. I can't return it because during the 3 days that the car ran well, I threw away all the various extra parts not needed for my type of engine, as well as the instructions and packaging. Their Fast XR ignition systems are shoddy copies of the Crane XR systems. Don't waste your money and time.
