Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet setup These fans are a bit pricey. But maybe that’s where the ease of install and operation comes into play. They work great. Granted it’s winter and I haven’t had them under any sort of actual load yet but so far flawless operation. Comes with two brackets. Neither of which worked “great” in my situation. One out the fans too low and in contact with lower radiator hose. Other brought the fans about a half inch above the radiator. Which in my opinion is better than contacting the radiator hose. Installing them also freed up noticeable Hp. Now that wasn’t the reason I went with the fans but it’s definitely a perk. Truck runs smoother. Starts better and throttle response is better, all due to getting rid of the mechanical fan.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not even close to fitting This is the first time I have reviewed a product before finishing installation and testing. This thing is an installation NIGHTMARE! My truck is a 1992 Chevy K1500 with a 350 and the 40" radiator. First problem: fan interferes with the lower radiator hose. It isn't even close to fitting. After an hour trying to reposition the hose, I ended up buying 2 new lower hoses and a splicing connector, cutting the two hoses and putting them together to move the lower hose back away from the fan. Second problem: Fan hits the power steering pressure hose. I tried repositioning the hose, but the interference is too great. Now I need to look for a different hose with the hardline end shaped differently. If you have a single row radiator core, you might just be able to squeeze this in. Maybe. With the two row core, not a chance. I bought this because I don't have time right now to fabricate my own fan mounts and shroud. I've spent about 20 hours on this, so far and it still isn't close to being installed. Should have made my own.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't cut it if your pulling a load. I recently purchased these for my 99 Chevy 3500 6.5 diesel so I could gain back the hp I loose with the factory clutch fan. Installation was simple and they seem like they are really moving a lot of air but on a recent trip, the first mountain Pass I tried to go over they just couldn't keep up with the motor and I had to pull over and let the engine cool down. I was driving in temps below 40 degrees. I put the factory fan and clutch back on which solved the problem but now I have a $500 kit that I don't know what to do with. For driving without a load, they will likely be fine. If your pulling you won't be happy.
