FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS 817837 Features:
The Flowmaster® American Thunder® Axle-back exhaust system for the 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL is perfect for the person looking for maximum performance and ground clearance. The 2.50-inch tailpipe features a mandrel bent 409 stainless steel tailpipe finished off with a 3.00-inch polished 304 stainless steel tip and fits both 2 and 4 door models with the 2.0L Turbo or the 3.6L engine. This system replaces the factory transverse muffler reducing weight, improves ground clearance, and provides a moderate sound level that is not offensive or will be considered loud by most people. Because this system tucks the tailpipe up high, an aftermarket metal bumper is generally recommended. The exhaust system is covered by our Lifetime Limited Warranty. Designed for a perfect fit, this system includes all necessary parts and hardware for easy and quick installation you can do at home in about 15 minutes.- Provides Maximum Off Roading Clearance
- Mandrel-bent 409 Stainless Steel Tubing

- Moderate Sound Level
- Flowmaster Quality
- Easy Installation
Specifications:
If this is a tailpipe only kit and the muffler if removed to install, hence catback system will the Jeep have a more aggressive sound, also have seen where it’s suggested that a different rear bumper be installed due to how this mounts up.
Do you have a sound bite on what this sounds like installed, my concern would be the drone sound
If installed on 2018 jeep wrangler jl 2door...do I really need to add a metal rear bumper to use this? Will the heat damage the factory plastic bumper?
