    If this is a tailpipe only kit and the muffler if removed to install, hence catback system will the Jeep have a more aggressive sound, also have seen where it’s suggested that a different rear bumper be installed due to how this mounts up.

    No, you should not need to replace the bumper to use this exhaust kit. You can add some heat shielding to the bumper if you think it will be close.

    This is a tailpipe kit only, no muffler so not a big change in the sound.

    If installed on 2018 jeep wrangler jl 2door...do I really need to add a metal rear bumper to use this? Will the heat damage the factory plastic bumper?
