The filter adapter allows you to rotate the filter mounting position 90 degrees to point filter towards the front of the engine. This gives you extra header clearance and more motor mount clearance for engine swaps.

    I have a 351 winsor block/427 going into a kit car the FL-1 Motorcraft filter is about 1/2" to long and hitting the frame. Will this work for me?

    This will work for many engine swap applications. You can determine where the filter will end up in your chassis.
