    GM Bushing Kits

Global West Control Arm Bushing Kit fixes the common problems found with the C5/C6 Corvette front control arm bushings. These 1/2 in. Del-a-lum bushings for the lower control arms are a direct replacement and quickly and effortlessly press into the lower arms. These bushings work like a bearing with plastic internal parts acting as a kind of insulation from metal to metal contact. The Global West Control Arm Bushings are lubricated with a grease fitting to provide up and down mobility without binding and stop the lower arm from moving side to side, preventing the car from "hunting" or following the road surface. Global West Control Arm Bushing Kits use special ball shaft upper mounts that change the alignment process by replacing the eccentrics with shims. This design fixes the "slip" that plagues eccentrics causing the alignment to shift under load.

    Specifications:

Del-A-Lum Bushings are a direct replacement for rubber or polyurethane control arm bushings. They are perfect for street or race applications. Del-A-Lum bushings feature inner and outer thrust washers, inner rotating sleeve, and lube fittings. This unique design provides smooth performance without squeaks or bind. Designed to last over 100,000 miles, Del-A-Lum bushings on the street or at the track will give you optimum performance and control.

    Del-A-Lum Bushings Features and Benefits:
  • Zero deflection fore and aft
  • Perfect for street and race applications
  • Smooth movement up and down
  • Easy press-in installation for most applications
  • Directly replaces factory bushings
  • Fully greasable
  • Low maintenance
  • Quiet, will not squeak
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty

Offset Shafts can be used in the factory upper control arms and take the place of stock shafts. Offset shafts generally give you about 1-1/4 degree change. All shafts are made out of billet steel and are supplied with hardware for the shaft, but not for the frame. Standard non-offset shafts are also available and are highly recommended if you are using Del-A-Lum or polyurethane bushings. The shafts are made to accommodate 5/8'' fine threaded locking nuts rather than a factory shaft that uses a 3/8'' bolt holding the bushing in place.

    Offset Shaft Features and Benefits:
  • Improved general alignment applications. Performance alignment setting is far easier to obtain with offset shafts. The shaft allows caster to be added without losing proper camber settings.
  • Correcting alignment for frame sag or for frames that have been damaged.
  • Obtaining specified alignment using tubular control arms.
