Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement Roof Skin (1957 Two-door Hardtop) I'm in the process of restoring my 1957 Chevrolet Two-door Hardtop. While making repairs and preparing the body for primer/paint we discovered rust/rot in the roof skin and drip rails. We were able to use my original roof support parts and decided to just replace the roof skin and drip rails. Having previously used Golden Star manufactured replacement panels I decided to purchase a their roof skin and drip rails. When my new parts arrived, we welded on the drips rails and test fitted the roof skin. We were impressed with both the fit and finish of both the drip rails and the roof skin. If you are in need of a roof skin for your project, I would strongly recommend you use a Golden Star part.
