2151 - Hooker Headers Super Competition Headers Chevy/GM Car is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality as promised I bought these for my 89 Corvette project. These are the only headers I could find with 1 3/4" primaries that didn't cost a bazillion bux. Aside from that, I like the hooker brand and will definitely look at them first for any future projects.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 92 Corvette LT1 This is the first set of headers I’ve installed so take this review as being from an amateur. That being said, the install was pretty straight forward. I soaked the exhaust manifold bolts down well and had no problems pulling them. A few things I found with the install of the new headers. The passenger engine mount bolt and nut need to be flipped. This is very easy. The spark plug wire looms from the factory can be reused if you grind them down a bit. The alternator and ac compressor brackets don’t fit with the new headers. They would require welding some extensions on or fabricating something. On my LT1, I felt like there was enough factory brackets still supporting the compressor and alternator so I did not fabricate anything. I’m pulling the motor soon for a cam and head upgrade so I may do something else for the brackets when I have the motor out. The headers only came with one o2 sensor port so I opted for jeg’s couplers. One wire fit from the factory but the passenger side will require extending the wire. I hope this helps someone with a LT1 Vette who may be considering these. I was happy with them and the overall ease of installation.
