    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works and fits great Had a more expensive flexible dipstick tube that leaked no matter what we did. This fixed the problem just by removing the old one and installing the new one from Hughes. It also fit our V8 Pinto by just putting a small dent in the firewall.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from I replaced a dual o-ring Lokar dipstick with this Hughes dipstick it ended my leak issues and is a great quality piece and fit perfectly. The item was delivered on time.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, just had issues installing. When comparing this dipstick tube to the 70's C4 dipstick tube ('66 Fairlane) it was replacing, the bends were very close. But when trying to install, the rubber collar kept sliding up the tube towards the metal flare on the tube causing the diameter of the collar to be too big for the tranny case. I ended up removing the rubber collar from the dipstick tube, coating it with tranny fluid, and installed it into the tranny case. Then putting tranny fluid on the metal tube and sliding it back into the rubber collar. I did this without having to remove the starter or headers. The only thing I removed was the transmission pan ( to make sure no crud go into the pan), so now the dipstick tube is nice and tight. Good quality, and the new dipstick is just a tad longer than the factory one it replaced (installed a deeper pan).
