JEGS 555-31006 Y-Pipe Features:

Great Upgrade
Perfect fit for my 1998 K1500 5.7 extended cab long box. Factory "Y" pipe removal came out without any issues and the aftermarket "Y" pipe went in even better. Sound increased as well as exhaust flow. You may want new exhaust stud nuts (6). The donut gaskets that came with the aftermarket kit seal without leaks.

Chevy OBS Y pipe kit
Chevy OBS Y pipe is a great fit. I read all of the previous reviews and figured I would give it a try.
Manifold brackets are a bit snug on the bolt pattern, but still a great fit . Thank you for making this available.

nice replacement needs mod
I fit this on my 99 burb but the pipes are oversize and where you see the bend in the pipe i had to dent it in to clear the transmission. Take the bend out, straighten the pipe

Saved a ton of money, gained power - a win-win!
Couldn't believe this was available. Saved the owner of a '96 Tahoe a PILE of money. We had to do everything from the engine block to tailpipe, so his bill was big, and set to get bigger with a set of OE style Y-pipes. The flanges were a bit tight on the new aftermarket manifolds I installed, but other than that, everything fit perfectly. Woke this 5.7 up from the dead, too! Owner is VERY happy! Pulls real nice now!

99 suburban 5.7 crossover
The crossover was out of stock for months, probably supply chain issues. Glad I waited.
Fitment was perfect...other reviews about having to redrill drivers side flange have been addressed in latest version, mfr elongated the 3 holes.
Seems to be high quality stainless steel and the welds and 02 bung locations are perfect.
Only change I made was using felpro donuts and flange gasket instead of those supplied but that was a choice, the supplied would have probably been fine.
Has a nice little rumble to it now without being too loud.
Between mpfi conversion, intake gaskets and this the go pedal seems a bit more responsive but its still a 5.7 vortec and no race truck.
Highly recommended.

Good product for my 97 K1500
Fit and finish were great. I had to get new studs for the manifold side and new bolts for the flange side to make this work. But is was not advertised as coming with new hardware.

i have a stock 1995 single cab short bed stepside with the 5.7 vortec will these bolt up to the stock manifold

I may be looking at this wrong , but how is this a"Y" pipe? A "Y" pipe merges two pipes into one. Does this replace the factory y pipe so you can run duals? If so , will this replace the y pipe on a 97 C2500 with a 5.0 ?
The Jegs 555-31006 pipe is for use with the original exhaust system. This does not work for dual exhaust.

Is there a specific tune to apply as this triggers check engine light, the code of course states low performance of catalyst system. I have replace all 4 O2 sensors with GM parts. 99 Tahoe 5.7
