    Rated 5 out of 5 by from LS swap power steering to old gearbox issue This flow restricter along with the Borgeson pressure reducer made my 1988 Suburban and LS power steering pump play nicely together. Much better than before. I may not have to do a rack and pinion setup now.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for LS swaps into older cars Used this on my 72 Nova with a 5.3l and rack n pinion conversion. Steering was really sensitive before and just too loose. I also used the pressure reducer washer kit(3 washers) in conjunction with this flow reducer. Steering is now firm and does not wonder all over the road from being too sensitive. FYI takes a 28mm socket to remove the valve that can be done without removing the pump.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dang near perfect I'm running a chevy power steering pump with a mustang II rack. I knocked the pressure down with the Borgeson shim kit and it still felt really loose and twitchy especially over 50mph, so I installed this valve, the center orifice was notably smaller than the stock, it tightened everything up. It steers beautifully now. The only problem that I had was the valve did not want to thread in with the o-ring that came on it because it seemed a little thick, so I swapped it with the o-ring that came with the Borgeson shim kit and it went together.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from nice change in steering installed on 78 cj7 jeep 12.1 saginaw box an type one pump alignment was perfect new tires and all steering parts new , had very sensitive steering due to pump flow. no road feel, your product made it a pleasure to drive, no more twichy feel and no more over steer on curves and at 60 to 70 mph thanks

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from saved the day!! i am running a small block chev with a gm Saginaw type pump and a flaming river mustang power rack...I could not keep the pump line connections on the power side from losing fluid,,,I installed this pressure reducer in the Saginaw pump and presto..problem solved and the system works like a champ!! Awesome solution !!

    What flow rate does it reduce it to.

    I have a Saginaw pump that is on a 1949 f1 pickup, I just installed it and it works fine, except it has a pulsation that is very annoying I can't find an answer any where, can you help? this is both driving and standing still

    You may need to reduce the pressure, if you have installed this valve then a different size pulley may help.
