JEGS Performance Products 63003 Stage Control II Stainless 4-Port Control Valve $69.99
Stage Control II
  • Stainless 4-Port Control Valve
  • (1) 1/8" NPT Inlet
  • (3) 1/8" NPT Outlets
  • Made in the USA
  • Activation Switch
  • Indicator Light
  • 4 Amp Fuse
  • Mounting Screws

  • JEGS Stage Control II includes a stainless steel 4-port valve, traditional activation switch, indicator light, 4 amp fuse, mounting hardware, and instructions. The heat-treated stainless valve has a heat sink to dissipate heat, four high-flow ports (allowing for the addition of a bleeder screw and brake pressure gauge), waterproof 12-volt coil, and a 150 micron screen to keep out rust and debris that would otherwise impair performance.

    63003 is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 7.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Questionable quality Haven't used it yet but had more than one issue with the installation. First off the switch and light and very low quality. I stripped the screw out of the switch trying to slip the rubber band around my shifter. I removed the rubber band and put a bigger screw in it and will use a zip tie if I even decide to use it. The light is really old school looking. It won't go in my car. The line lock itself made me scratch my head. While figuring out where to put it, the selenoid came out of the bracket. There is no way to tighten it in and just uses friction to hold it. I ended up rotating the selenoid where I needed it and used shoe goo to glue them together making sure there was still slot of metal to metal contact because the bracket is finned like it may be a heat sink. Also the electrical connections need to touch the selenoid to activate it. Once it's mounted and plumbed it's no biggie since the brake lines help hold it in place. I ran the cheaper jegs line lock for years with success and wish I would have just gone with that one instead. Hopefully this one holds up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money Installed it on my street rod. It held the front brakes perfectly, the only problem was it wouldn't release. Solenoid is junk. You would figure they would at least test them before they stick them on a shelf. I'm returning it and getting my money back. Not going to bother with another cheap unit like this.

Can I use this on my 82 GMC 1500?

    Asked by: Timbcan
Yes, this is a momentary line lock kit and is universal. Not recommended for anti lock brakes.
