154050 - JEGS Square Flange Carb Heat Shields is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more vapor lock This is the answer to fuel vaporizing problems with my 427 BBC. The temperature difference between the carb and the intake manifold is amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Major temperature difference Gasket ,shield ,gasket ,metal spacer ,gasket then 1” block.Shield will be so hot you don’t want leave your hand on it. The Carb is much cooler to the touch!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value Plenty of gaskets and metal plates and the heat shield is great, just trim to fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of pieces included. This includes lots of gaskets and metal spacers in addition to the big shield itself. You will likely have to trim it in places to clear linkage, hoses, etc on your particular engine. It really works well to reduce carb overheating and vapor lock. It does not include linger carb studs which you will likely need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As advertised This was exactly what I needed. Did not use large shield, but insulator plates and gaskets keep my Holley cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product sold by a great reliable company! another example of a great order from you guys! One thing though, I wish you still put stickers and hats in the boxes!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For dual plane intake Works great for eliminating carburetor boil-out. Use this one (four holes) for dual plane intakes. The large single opening is for single plane intakes. I purchased the single opening 4 years ago, not knowing the difference. Haven't finalized the new installation, but expect the results to be better, including better HP and torque for the right one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lowers Carb Temp!!! Overall this product works as intended. Installed on a big block Ford 429 in a 70 Torino that was boiling the fuel out of the secondaries on Holley 750. I only had enough hood clearance to install the heat shield and one of the aluminum plates above it (including the sandwiched gaskets of course), but it still seems to perform well. After shut down I can actually touch the carb with my bare hand; couldn't before. Hopefully it will still work this well in the heat of summer. I had to cut a small clearance hole with my plasma cutter to provide room for the vacuum secondary linkage and the gaskets didn't quite fit the spread of the carb studs, so I had to slightly widen them with my pocket knife, the aluminum plates fit fine, other than that the install was simple.
