601025 - JEGS GM Clutch Pivot Ball Brackets with Ball is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Stainless Steel item. Fitting a Mark-5 engine in my 1966 Corvette chassis. Unfortunately I did not opt for hydraulic clutch actuation and didn't find out about the lack of a drilled 1/2 inch mounting hole until after installation. I had to modify the JEGS bracket with cutting the steel bell housing for a fit and then having to modify the JEGS bracket to get a smooth as possible angularity for the clutch pivot tube interface from the chassis to the block. The upper ball mounting hole had to be removed to prevent contact with the block. I had to move back 5/8 of an inch from where the upper hole was and down about 1/8 inch. This cured the block contact and gave me not the best, but the best possible angle for the clutch pivot tube and ball interface without impacting the stock clutch adjustment threads. I was a bit intimidated when I had to come to face with chopping on a beautiful and a bit expensive bracket with a possible end result of pricey scrap.
