    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Neat features When I purchased this a month ago, my delivery was canceled because it was damaged during transport. I informed Jegs immediately and a replacement was shipped right away without question. Installation was not as easy as expected. I had to order new brake lines to replace the originals, to have proper connection to the master cylinder, in my 69 resto-mod Chevelle, and made modifications to have the correct line placement for the 4 disc brake conversion. I also had to install an electric vacuum pump to have the right amount of pressure to the brakes, from 10# to maximum 20#s because the original booster was 11” and this is an 8”. I love the clean chrome appearance and it’s working as it should. So far, no leaks...keeping my fingers crossed.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made unit I put this unit in a 1952 Chevy p/u that I added disc brakes to the rear, (already had front). Be very versed in brake systems or install with a mechanic. Instructions did not even acknowledge there was a proportioning valve. The proportioning valve had a odd size larger screw in input for the front disc brakes which not being in the instructions was difficult to determine it’s size. Went to four locations from a brake line shop to a machine/hydraulic shop and two auto parts stores before finding a fitting that would fit it. Brake line shop would make a custom part for me but..... then found an odd ball fitting and my mechanic buddy was able to make tubing with the part and his tubing flaring tools. Master cylinder top may have had a burr as one of the screw holes leaked after being tightened down, after so TLC it seems to have stopped. The unit is very sharp looking, not the typical master cylinder. Very nice unit just not a simple upgrade type unit, you have to work for it.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good overall quality, almost as pictured Good overall quality, excellent for the price, I wish it included a plug for one of the front 2 lines in the valve block but I will be running separate lines. It did include plugs for the fittings on the other side of the master cylinder as one review mentioned not having them so that was a concern. The only thing I expected was for the vacuum check valve to be chrome as in the picture, but mine was black plastic so I will have to order one separately. The hardware for the brackets also is not the greatest looking so I plan on upgrading it to better chrome or polished stainless instead. Either way it looks to be a quality piece and for the price I can't complain too much.
