Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works Fine...You Get What You Pay For This is obviously not a Snap-On tool...But seems to work just fine for what I needed...Measuring temps of engine bay, individual header tubes, etc. Made in China...Terrible instructions, but very easy to figure out. It has worked fine for me at a low price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great unit for the price - POOR instructions The unit appears to be sturdy and fits well in my hand. Readings are believable so far. The seven second hold feature allows you to take a blind measurement then let go of the trigger and view the reading for an additional seven seconds. Reset is immediate once the trigger is pulled. Button option for back lighting screen is nice. Toggles from deg. F to deg. C without having to remeasure. Poor instructions prevented me from giving this five stars Made in China instructions were almost impossible to understand. Broken English and non standard formatting. Pay close attention to tiny numbers at the bottom of each section. Follow the numbers, read top half of page left to right then bottom half of page left to right. The instructions do not show the battery location or how to access it. The battery is located behind the front (black) face of the pistol grip. The grip folds forward from behind the trigger.
