    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Threw a rod after 3 minutes on test stand Purchased as spare engine for fleet vehicles. 3 minutes into break in on a test stand at idle the engine threw a rod. Inspected afterwards and whoever built the engine did not torque the rod caps down properly and GM and Jegs won't warranty it since it wasnt installed in a vehicle by a GM dealership, so its off to the machine shop. Definitely not going to waste time buying engines from Jegs/GM again. Im sure our local machine shop will be grateful for the business instead.

    What type of headers will fit on this engine when being put on 1969 chevy 3/4 ton pickup?

    There are several available from various brands, consider 555-30055 for painted or 555-300110 for ceramic coated.

    What headers will match this engine low cost?  Can I have a list of what is not included,  like water pump, gasoline pump and so forth.  Pulleys

    Headers would be dependent on the vehicle application. Some things you would need are; water pump, alternator, power steering, a/c, all the pulleys, starter, flexplate/flywheel, oil, fuel pump, carb, air cleaner, plugs and wires. The headers can be narrowed down and anything i may of missed along with a complete quote could be discussed with a representative at 1.800.345.4545
