Rated 5 out of 5 by from sounds good fits 79 camaro good. cut 2 inches off mid pipe and tail pipe. bend tail bracket w/red grommet 90 angle. Also, bend rear end brake line bracket down to clear left tail pipe. cant see tail pipe from side of car but who cares. sure sounds good. used a smt kit on my other camaro and the jegs kit fits better. made the car sound really good with red neck 280 cam.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound really good fit I have a 67' Camaro and the system bolted right in and sound great! I had to cut two inches from two pipes, but this was not surprising and the instructions even indicated that they were delivered intentionally long to compensate for different brands of headers. If you like the thump of a V8 and can appreciate the sound of a engine breathing, get this system.

Would this system allow the splitter extension for the 1979 Pontiac Trans Am

    Asked by: DPontiac
You may need to add a tailpipe in the system depending on how it is installed.
