  • JEGS 31002 Details

    GM

    • Fits all to 8500 GVW with OE single ball and socket flange 2-3/4" exhaust after the converter only.
    • Inlets measure 2-1/4" and outlet measures 3" with single ball and socket configuration.
    • Will accomodate factory 2-3/4" exhaust or aftermarket 3" system.

    JEGS Y-Pipes provide maximum exhaust flow for off-road truck use. These fit directly from the manifold to the stock cat-back exhaust for all 2WD/4WD applications and wheel bases. Constructed from mandrel-bent 16-gauge aluminized tubing or 409 stainless steel, the pipes include flanges, gaskets, oxygen sensor bungs and plugs, and exhaust clamps. A JEGS cat-back exhaust system is recommended to receive the full benefit of the increased exhaust flow. Catalytic converter(s), sold separately, can be added for street-legal use, yet some modifications will be required.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pipe except for, Great pipe nice flanges easy to install, although the O2 sensor is at 12 o'clock when it should be 10 o'clock. I had to push up my floor about 2" to make it fit. Otherwise it's a lot better quality than a factory replacement.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from did not fit well. The off road y pipe did not fit well. The right side pipe was messed up, O2 sensor pointed at the floor, couldn't get it in. Welded in a new bung at a different angle. The flange would not fit flat to manifold, had to separate the y pipe and the right side was totally off. Left side pipe was fine.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from not perfect. Was to wide and had to cut some pipe off. No big deal but the biggest problem was the oxygen sensor threaded bung was welded in the wrong spot or wrong angle and would not fit. I had to pay to have this fixed at a muffler shop.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Design Failure Bought this a few years ago to replace stock catalytic converter on a 95 K1500 Silverado with a 5.7 litre with stock manifolds. Just installed it sort of. Flanges are a lot smaller than stock and did not seal on new gaskets. O2 sensor bung not in stock location and sensor crushed into floor pan. Bolted up stock intermediate pipe and it was also touching floor. It's listed as fitting C/K pickups and I'm not sure who attempted to design this but they failed. As designed it might work with a body lift? Going into metal scrap bin at work.
