JEGS 555-40062 GM HEI High-Output Module Notes:
- We recommend using a coil with more than stock turns ratio output for optimum performance in spark output. The perfect choice is a coil with at least a 70:1 turns ratio and up to a 130:1 turns ratio output.
- This HEI module assembly replaces the stock 4-pin GM module and the harness/condenser assembly in a 4, 6 (even fire only), and 8-cylinder GM HEI distributor
- DO NOT USE DIELECTRIC GREASE IN PLACE OF THE ENCLOSED WHITE THERMAL GREASE
Dielectric grease inhibits heat transfer and will cause the module to overheat and fail.
Emissions Note:
This part is only legal for sale and use on Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles or on vehicles used solely for the purposes of closed competition racing.
